07 Semillon
A good example of Hunter Semillon that has very appealing flavours in its youth and will develop further complexity with careful cellaring. Drought conditions during 2005-6 meant the 2007 vintage started 2-3 weeks earlier than usual. This resulted in good flavour concentration. The colour is light green with a little more pale straw than usual. The lemon citrus flavours on the nose and the middle palate are soft with gentle acidity. Cellaring potential - 4-10 years under the right conditions.
